snowcaps in the distance..

Day three we piled on the warm gear only to shed it about a half hour later.  Sunny hot day!  we stopped in Toledo for a burrito.  we are having camp stove issues.. we don’t want to buy a gigantic jug of white gas fuel and we can’t find anything smaller.  but then we did and got excited about cooking.  we decided to ride another 26 miles to camp on the Columbia River shore.  then the stove didn’t work!  there was some dry wood so we managed to build a fire.  Highlight of the day was probably picking apples on the side of the road.  so delicious.  of course, the views are spectacular too.  68 mile day!
